The proprietor keeps the rooms much cleaner than previous. Quite happy with my stay.

There were bugs in the room, including a cricket that sang ALL night long and hid between the carpet and the wall until we found it at 3am. There were small bugs in the bathroom. The toilet didn’t flush well, almost overflowing and when we told him he said they already knew.

It was fine for us. We had some chihuahuas and there was no problem at all. Very nice boy behind the counter

Room was very clean, but the building is old and the renovations were poorly done. Tile baseboards in the bathroom were not grouted well and were open and not caulked on the top.

As expected

It was about what I expected. Beds were nice and clean and it is a spacious room. The mini fridge and microwave were good too. The bathroom sink drain smelled bad and it didn’t drain all that well. The bathtub didn’t have a drain stopper and my daughter felt like she needed to shower with her crocs on because of the condition of the bathtub. The AC also had a bad stench. I woke up the first night with a bug crawling on me and there was a huge spider in the bathroom. I also wasn’t expecting housekeeping to come in and make our beds on the second day because I saw a sign that said they come in after 3 days. Maybe that was just for towels. There was no “do not disturb” sign so there was no way to decline this although it was nice to have the bed made. We had to get new keys on the second day because ours weren’t working in the afternoon. We stayed here because hotel prices are outrageous for Dumas, TX and this was a more affordable option. It was a room to sleep in for two nights and it served its purpose.
