As soon as we walked in, the strong smell of Clorox filled the entire lobby area. Outside air smelled like cow manure since it was closed to a beef plant (not the hotel’s false), but inside the hotel was where we had problem. We found a broken chair in the room. The refrigerator was leaky, so water was on the carpet. Bedsheets were old and smelled mildew. Breakfast was worse because I could see orange mold around the top of the milk jar where you pour milk (like the jar was never washed). You could make someone really sick, so please clean it. While it was nice to make a Texas-shape waffle, the taste was off or stale. The pool and hot tub was closed. Only one good thing, however, was easy check in.

The property was clean, but the carpet needed to be replaced. The bed was comfortable. We had two rooms.

It appears and smells clean but outdated shower and vanity look questionable. Shower is handicap friendly which is not to my likes. And shower head is at the height of the ceiling which i cannot adjust. Shower floor looks a bit worn out

I booked this hotel on the fly while in Cimarron, New Mexico, after starting the day in Gallup, New Mexico, and visiting Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos, and I was running late, with insult added to injury by losing another hour at the New Mexico/Texas border. I arrived around around 10:30 p.m., was efficiently checked in, got a great night's sleep, and found breakfast ready to go at 6:00 a.m., including Texas-shaped waffles. Many thanks!

The room had a nasty stench. There was mold in the shower. The carpet looked bad with stains.
