No TV in the room, when you staying over for the night and don't want to sit in the pub for the entire evening, TV would have been nice.

Facilities minimal, no TV, no fridge, combo bath & shower with curtain unpleasant to use. Walls are dirty, door lock-flimsy and not safe no lighting outside and difficult to use the stairs or see where one is going, no headboard and wall full of oily head marks- that was gross to say the least. Bedding is old and torn, coming lose at the seams. The Bar at the back of the premises is noisy and music very high volume. No reception, had to wait while staff is running around trying to find someone to book us in. When we wanted to leave the morning at 8- the premises was still locked and no one to help us book out and receive our payment. We had to wait till 9 and pay at the bar! Overall a very unprofessional run establishment. We picked up word in town that it is a very dodgy establishment in the sense of drug dealings going on there. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

We booked in at Duck & Trout after someone on Twitter recommended them to me - we were lucky to get one of the last rooms available as the whole of Dullstroom turned into Lekkerland for a day-festival. We had a lovely stay, and we even requested to check out a bit later as we wanted to go for a hike, and it was perfect. Thank you so much to all the friendly staff at Duck & Trout, we will be back again!
