Excellent for the beach and not far from the shop and restaurants easy walking distance. We was in the sea view and kitchen room, the kitchen is well stocked and the sea view is from the kitchen window. The bathroom looks bigger on the pictures the bath is half size and your sat on a raised bit so not good for a nice soak but the shower is powerful. We had 3 flights of stairs to climb to get to the room so not good if you struggle with walking . When we arrived we was greeted with a drink and a man who couldn’t speak English . The owner rung his phone so managed to speak to him . Unfortunately my husband was in an accident and we had to leave as he couldn’t manage the stairs. I messaged the owner to explain so he could let the other man know we were leaving . Overall can’t fault it you get what you pay for it we didn’t have to move it was ideal for our needs and I would book again if I could stay in the room below because of the stairs.

Posted 27 Aug 2017Our stay was very pleasent. Great appartment, clean and comfortable. The only thing is that the wifi is not very good
Staff was great, they don't speak very well English but we manage to understand each other, very friendly. He brought us raisin while we were drinking wine on the terasse :)

Quiet location beautiful view
Posted 9 Aug 2017
Pros: I liked the view from the small balcony and the peaceful location.
Cons: Housekeeping at least every other day and a small array of things to buy e.g. milk bread water etc. It would also help if trip info left in rooms.
Location: Location was picturesque and tranquil although there was nothing to do nearby.
We were about 10 minutes walk from the shop and bus stop and on top floor of the villa which for 2 older ladies was quite tiring - it was 35 deg most days! My only real complaint was we had no housekeeping at all in the week we were there. No clean sheets, towels, toilet paper or rubbish taken out. I have never stayed anywhere that this has happened.

Cons: Wifi needs to work in apartments

Quiet room, lovely sea view with small balcony, close to all facilities, good bed, great shower and very clean. Very small room though and wifi didn't work as expected. Had a lovely stay though. Thanks

5 Star Experience
Posted 17 Jul 2017
Pros: Clean, comfortable, air-con, very friendly hosts and Frano's cherry liquor!
We stayed at Villa Adria for 2 weeks and it was wonderful - the rooms were clean, the host Frano was extremely welcoming, always helped us out when we wanted to cook outside, provided with everything we needed and was happy to give us a tour of other rooms available, when we couldn't stay on the same floor as our friends. The hotel is very close to the sea, 10 second walk from your room. There is a nice beach nearby, convenience store, restaurants and public transport (but I would recommend renting a car to get around). Thank you, for our great experience! :)

Wonderful Apartment overlooking the sea
Posted 27 Sep 2015
Pros: Cleanliness
Welcome
Location
View
Facilities
Cons: Just a couple of things, some local information in the room and a note on the free wi-fi code although I did quite easily guess it.
Location: Beautiful Bay
Good swimming
Good Restaurants
Handy Shops
A wonderful apartment overlooking the sea in the beautiful quiet bay of Slano.
A nice welcome and it had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Eating breakfast on the balcony was always a treat and the view and the closeness of the sea was great and it was very clean and good to swim in.
We were there quite late in the season so it was quiet and the nearby restaurants and shops were good and only a very short walk away. There is a large hotel in the village at the bottom of the bay but it was quite easy to ignore it and the people in it seemed to stay there and it was quiet.
The room had Air-Con which was good as it was hot both in the day and at night.
The closeness of Slano to Dubrovnick was great and although we were driving (the car parking by the apartment was fine and we always found a place to park) we could have easily taken a bus.
We are recommending the Villa Adria to all our family and friends and plan to return next year.

Lovely apartment with an amazing sea view
Posted 14 Sep 2014
Pros: Beautiful view, clean, well-equipped apartment, friendly owners
Cons: It might be useful to provide a few basic essentials, eg soap in the bathroom, salt and oil in the kitchen, but not vital
Location: Slano is a small town but with bars, restaurants, supermarkets and is an ideal base with a car for touring the area.
We were made to feel welcome before we even arrived with an email telling us how to get there and where to park. On arrival, we were greeted by the friendly owner who speaks little English but immediately phoned Petar, who came over, showed us to our room, asked what we were interested in during our stay and sent us a very informative email the next day with lots of useful information. The apartment was very clean and spacious, the kitchen area is small but extremely well-equipped, although in the end the nearby restaurants are so reasonable we always ate out, and the view from the balcony is amazing. We were offered clean towels during our stay, and we were always greeted with a smile morning and evening, making us feel very at home.
