I stayed at both the Dean and the Mayson. I spent more on my stay at the Mayson but was treated better when I stayed at the Dean. Will not be choosing to return to the Mayson. We loved the Dean.

hotel location is ideal for 3arena or the convention centre.
Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the lift malfunctioned while we were using it and we were stuck in it for 15-20 mins. When it was fixed, none of the staff offered anything for the inconvenience. Even a token drink from the bar would have been welcome or something of that ilk.

Great hotel, fantastic spa and gym facilities. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. It is slightly out of the centre, but a nice walk along the river (around 30 mins).
