Bed and pillows are hard as rocks and very all. Not even remotely big enough for two people. The carpets are old and remind you of stinky Las Vegas hotel carpets. The surrounding area is kind of ghetto.

This is my second stay at this hotel so I can recommend staying here. The only thing lacking in the rooms is a small bar fridge. A extremely convenient location next to Heuston Station where you can board lrains to other cities for one day excursions and tours. . Bus stop steps away for 26 bus and hop on hop off tour buses. The red line LUAS tram also stops at Heuston Station. Just to the west is Ryans Parkgate Restaurant which reputedly has one of the best seafood chowders in Dublin, Nancy Hands Bar & Restaurant and P Duggans bar. To the west is the National Museum of Decorative Arts and History. Two to three tram stops to the west are more pubs and restaurants to explore.
