Absolutely exceptional! Everything about Aberdeen House completely exceeded my hopes and expectations. The lodgings are wonderful, beautifully restored and exquisitely maintained. The staff are uniformly pleasant, professional and helpful. Your host, Pat, is unfailingly courteous, patient, and generous with his time and local knowledge. The neighborhood is beautiful, eminently walkable, and convenient to the seaside as well as the charming village of Sandymount. Even the dogs and cat are friendly and pleasant! The bus line is less than 100 m from the front door, and the train is an easy five-minute walk. Either will take you to downtown Dublin less than 15 minutes.
I’m traveling solo on this visit to Ireland, and can’t believe my luck that I was able to reserve at the Aberdeen House. I’m already planning a return visit with my GF, and will absolutely plan on visiting Dublin and staying at Aberdeen House again!

Aberdeen Lodge is in the Sandymount area of Dublin. It is a lovely property, clean and comfortable and the grounds are well kept with flowers everywhere. The host is kind, helpful and welcoming. We arrived several hours earlier than check-in time because of an overnight flight. It happened there was a room ready and they graciously let us check in early.
There is ample parking on the property, but the bus stop is just a block or so away and can get you to where you need to go.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

I really enjoy staying here, this my third time here. The rooms are very nice. It is in a quiet neighborhood and transportation is very easy with the bus running in front of the B&B and the train just 5 minutes walking. It was easy to get into the main part of Dublin. The food is very good. I will stay again and highly recommend this B&B.

This hotel was a lovely place to stay during our first visit to Dublin. Ann was so warm, welcoming, & accommodating. She made great recommendations & helped us with daily travel plans. The garden was lovely, and the hotel pristine.

Posted 25 May 2024 on HotelsMy new favorite hotel in Dublin. Great location. Beautiful building. Very friendly staff. Loved it. Walls are a little thin but it didn’t bother me at all. Walkable to Sandymount Village. A+

If you want to feel welcome and looked after, this is the place to stay. Owner and staff are considerate and helpful. The area is beautiful and there are good dining options. The breakfast at the lodge is great. Fantastic coffee and home cooked fare in a comfortably fancy dining room. We had delicious Indian food at Khushee in the village. Travel in and out is easy via public transportation or taxi. Our family had a wonderful stay. Personal touch, beautiful location, and exceptional staff, is what you will find here.
