Great hotel with friendly and professional staff. Breakfast buffet is excellent and the view from the 49th bar is the best. Really convenient for the public transport, just a short walk from the hotel that provides great access to the wonderful sights of Dubai.

Nope to voco hotel

From arrival we felt unwelcomed to the establishment. We waited for 10 minutes holding all of our bags until someone finally offered assistance. We stood for 20 minutes waiting for registration and over 45 minutes for the entire check-in. When we got to the room it smelled bad like a wet dog and many things in the room were not working. The bed is uncomfortable and the extra bed was unusable because it was hard and with springs. The property is outdated and offers nothing special to draw people other than unsuspecting first-time guests. We booked a Club Suite and were told on check-in that we were receiving an "upgraded" room option, despite being placed in a lower room option than booked. We have stayed in Dubai hotels for over 16 years and this stay ranks at the bottom of the list for overall and specific service, quality, and amenities.
