Pros: It was nice to be able to cook on the stovetop. Staff were friendly. Cold a/c.
Needs some updating. Desk lamps had bare wires. Walls thin. You can here next to and above you. Mildew and mold in the bathroom. No fitted sheet on the mattress. Just a queen flat sheet on a king bed with a duvet and cover.

average and very noise because of construction

Posted 23 Oct 2015 on Hotels
- average room - The wall had some old water stains not repaired - Big construction project beside it create lots of noise - they say free parking but they have only three spots in upfront street parking and use another parking across the street which may not be convenient - old furniture

rat in the hotel room

Posted 7 Oct 2015 on Hotels
Hotel was in an urgent need of redecorating. I booked for 3 nights, although not satisfied I intended to stay, but on the second night a rat ran accross the floor, we left within 20 minutes. Hotel seemed dismayed that we couldnt tolerate a rat in our room! I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Good location, polite staff, in general a nice stay. Close to many shops, Mall and not so far from Metro.

Decent hotel close to the old town of Dubai

Pros: Great location, staff is nice but not great listeners...
Cons: See above
Location: See above
Hotel staff are nice but do not try to respond with pleasant compliance to your requests. Instead you get excuses which is not professional. In a way they are not trained to do their best to keep the customer happy. Parking is very limited, sometimes you come back to park, there is no space for your rental car-a great inconvenience... They send you to another parking lot which is usually full to the brink... House keeping does not bother to keep your room clean and tidy everyday, especially when you tell them the time you are in your room and you want things done in your presence... My room was not cleaned as expected every day... During my stay there 5 out 21 days was cleaned... They do not work around the customer's comfort and convenience... The manager is nice but it does not mean you get results... It is mostly PR, smile and listen nothing is carried out as talked about, there is no follow up... There is definitely room for improvement to keep the hallways clean and train their staff to listen and execute by any means possible to keep the customer happy that is their number business not their opinions/culture/attitude... In general it is decent stay with inconveniences...

Value for the $$$, big rooms

Posted 26 May 2015
Pros: Price, size, quiet, no hassles from the front desk, easy.
Cons: Some water in the fridge would be nice. But really, for the little bit of money you spend you can't ask for much else.
Location: You need to walk about 2 blocks for the Metro, theres the Al Guhar mall across the street, and it's right next to the "Fish Circle" roundabout.
The hotel looks kinda cheesy from the outside, and the entry area and front desk don't do much to help. HOWEVER, the rooms and upper floors are done up in a tasteful classical Moorish style and the rooms are quite large, double the size of similarly priced rooms, clean and quiet.
