Nice hotel for families.
Posted 29 Mar 2015Nice hotel for families. Alcohol drinks are not allowed which makes it a good choice for families.
Stores are far away so you have to go by car to reach the nearest mini-market.

Tired, old hotel but good price on the beach
Posted 8 Jan 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Cleanliness and the ability to cook in the room--especially if you invest in the large family room.
Location: This is either a place to get and just stay put enjoying the sea in Sharjah or get a car rental and head into Dubai everyday.
We unexpectedly found ourselves in Sharjah/Dubai over a holiday. Little was available that we could afford. Golden Beach was a good find for the money. Our family room was massive (2 bedrooms and 3 baths) with views of the ocean. But our "non-smoking room" came complete with ash trays. My allergies were awful. Still, once medicated and taking in the wind off the sea, we felt we had little to complain about in what is normally a very pricey area. There is a great pool for the kids and the beach and sea are beautiful as long as you don't look South toward the utility company. Anything from the kitchen is terribly overpriced but we found the staff to be very attentive and helpful. In a room this size it was unfortunate to be unable to cook (the kitchen in our unit had a fridge a sink but no stove or even microwave).
