This was our third stay at the Pioneer District hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the staff were very helpful in having the flowers and gift basket placed in our room prior to our arrival. Greatly appreciated.

convenient location within walking distance of many major attractions. pre-check-in luggage storage was a huge help.
room with non-working fridge was assigned. this was not a major inconvenience and i did not report it. curiously, maintenance staff came (while DND sign was on door) to repair it on the final evening of my stay. when i inquired how they knew the appliance was broken they shared that it was a known issue and the room was to not have been assigned. when i called to inquire at the front desk the manager on duty, brianna, claimed to have no knowledge of this and mentioned she would “speak to maintenance”.
the integrity displayed in this situation by management was questionable. late checkout and free breakfast were provided as remedy.
