Maybe it was just my room, because the lobby seemed lovely, breakfast was great.
But our stay was not pleasant & staff seemed unsure what to do about the circumstances and were hesitant to offer any sort of help. Our room door did not lock properly so we had to barricade it each night. There was gum or a candy stuck to & melted onto our pillow & staff removed it and tried to give it back as if it was ‘fixed’. There was a suspicious hole in the wall that made us feel uneasy as if we were being watched. The blinds didn’t close fully in one room so anyone passing by on the balcony could see into the bed. The internet did not work in our room tho whole duration of our stay, we had to go down to the lobby to do anything & ended up just paying for roaming charges.
The staff asked if I wanted Hyatt house points for my troubles?? That’s an absolute joke of a resolution in my opinion.

Absolutely loved staying here, good price, great location and comfortable beds. Room for improvement would be a few more kitchen items and allowing guests to be in the hot tub a little later. I would definitely stay here again.

Definitely loved layout of the room
The bar across the street kept us up most of night friday and Saturday night

We've stayed at a number of Hyatt hotels and really like the brand. At Hyatt House Scottsdale we requested a 1st floor room as there were no elevators. Checkin thought that would be possible if we came back in an. ~3pm staff thought that would be possible if we came back in 2 hours. We walked through Old Town for 2 hours and returned to entirely new staff. No note on our reservation and no 1st floor room. Next day return from breakfast room keys dont work, reset by pleasant front desk. Later in afternoon getting ready for pool and a man who had just checked in enters our room with a key, front desk apologized and indicated they would figure out the problem. Return to room our keys don't work. Once again get new keys coded. Overall room was clean, location and amenities were great. The room/key snafus and a sliding bathroom door that could not possibly lock were disappointments.

Property was pretty average. Pretty dated and the rooms need some major updating. Grounds were very well kept and it was walkable to some food so that was nice. Stayed 5 nights. Kind of expensive for this hotel. Jacuzzi ruined my wife’s swim suit. Had to have too many chemicals in it.

I've stayed in this hotel multiple times over the past years. The quality of the rooms and common areas has steadily declined as there's much deferred maintenance. What used to a decent breakfast buffet is now a minimal effort. A Hyatt property in such a good location should be better than this.

Worst Hyatt experience I have ever had the place is run down and you should take the Hyatt name off of it and the breakfast was disgusting
