Property wasnt as per expectation in terms of cleaning, decoration and interior , only plus point is location just in front of Penn Station Newark, rest all are old and need to update , Overall stay was above average as i was at 8th floor so nice and calm

Hotel room was not cleaned properly prior to check in. Went to front desk to request housekeeping. Attendant was understanding and appeared to communicate my request to staff. Returned to hotel room 5 hours later, bed was made, but the bathroom was not cleaned. Checked out early because I paid for a clean room and recieved disappointing and unsanitary service. Will not recommend.

Staff and service were very nice and helpful. But I think some of the descriptions of this property needs to be updated since there was no complimentary breakfast and they are not up to date with usb outlet ports in the rooms or bathrooms. Area was kinda noisy due to the traffic and people honking their horns early in the morning but over all everything was clean and comfy.

Used to have small buffet breakfast, Not much, but nice for a start to the day. Now it is a sit down with rude waitresses and $5 cups of coffee with less than good food. What a shame.

Spent a couple days here while I visited NYC, it connected directly to the transit area which was convenient. Definetely better prices than a hotel in NY. Staff at the hotel were good, they were friendly. In terms od cleanliness, it was pretty well maintain throughout the building but in the room we stayed in there were some stains on the bed sheets/towel. I also found it noisy at night, not sure if its because I was in one of those joint room or whether the neighbors were just exceptionally inconserated to 3 in the morning. Overall thoughts, its a good place for your buck. I would consider it again if I went back.
