The Plaza is a wonderfully kept 1920's Art Deco hotel, with many of it's original features. I was very excited to take that "step-back-in-time", and get to experience a bit of architectural history in one of the Original Milwaukee neighborhoods.

I loved the decor of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and we had all of the amenities we needed. We brought our dog and he got a cute gift bag. The food at the cafe was great. We will definitely be back.

Disappointed at the lack of value for the price. The check-in person was incredibly condescending and shouldn’t be working in customer service with such obvious disdain for other humans. The room smelled weird and there was a visible amount of someone else’s hair on the bathroom floor. Room decor is lovely considering it’s an old hotel, but the vintage building wasn’t worth the added cost, plus parking.

We stayed two nights while in town for a concert. Everything about our stay was thoughtful and impeccable. The hotel is charming and historic, the room was extremely clean, well-stocked, and comfortable, and the staff was helpful, wonderful, and attentive. We had breakfast at the café both mornings and it was excellently prepared and the ambience on the patio is charming. I also found the rooms to be very quiet, which was surprising due to the age of the hotel. 10/10 would stay again and recommend to adults traveling without very small children.
