Property is downtown so it's walk-able to everything which is the best part. Easy, quick check-in, although when we walked into our room, there were chip crumbles all over the floor, it's like the maid was going to come back to vacuum but forgot. Nice having a kitchen (no oven) but the only cookware we had was a single pot. Breakfast buffet was great every morning with a variety of eggs and sausages. The fitness center and pool was great too.

Hotel itself was very good. It was clean and the staff was helpful. It is a short walk to Whiskey Row. Area around the hotel is ok during the day, but definitely suspect at night and the early morning.

The rooms here are great. A really nice hotel, especially for longer stays. We had two main complaints: The bed seemed like maybe it was older and needed to be replaced. It was hard and we had trouble sleeping every night from it. The second is the parking situation. It's inconvenient to walk to the parking garage next door and have to constantly go up and down, back and forth to and from your car.
But otherwise, everyone was very friendly and helpful, very nice place to stay.

Parking is available, but it is $28 a night. OR you can use the parking garage a block over. I asked about parking at check in, and was told nothing about any kind of parking pass. The employee told me to use the garage and pay upon exit. Third day into my trip and I noticed random charges on my card from the hotel. When I returned to the hotel I asked the woman at the front desk, who informed me that those were my charges for parking. Only I had been paying for parking every time I exited the garage already. She seemed confused as to why I wasn’t using the parking pass that was never mentioned nor given to me. She did indicate that she would reverse the charges, but that since I was using a debit card, those funds would be held until the end of my stay. Those parking charges were eventually reversed, but ultimately I was overcharged from my Expedia quote by $56. When I inquired as to why, I was told to refer to my invoice from the hotel. I indicated that I never received anything at all from the hotel, probably because I booked through Expedia. Four days after I returned from my trip, I messaged Expedia asking for a refund of the overcharged amount. Expedia indicated that the hotel said they had not yet cleared my bank - they absolutely had! Expedia indicates there is nothing they can do since the hotel claims the charges still haven’t cleared. It did not matter that I sent screenshots showing the cleared charges. It’s now 8 days later and still no resolution. Shady stuff
