Fancy property but what travelers value most is a nice bed & hot shower & they only delivered the first. The room was opulent & visually stunning but the shower water never got hot, drainage was poor & the seals leaked so water seeped out all over the floor which created a dangerous mess requiring all the towels & robe to mop up to avoid slipping. They should focus on the basics before all the decorative stuff that's not that important when all most want is to refresh after long journeys & sleep.

Spacious room, comfortable bed and cozy environment with quality toiletries products. Assessible to every part of the city and the seafood street is just opposite the hotel.

Bath tub didn’t hold water so I took a shower and shower pan leaked badly all over marble floor. I nearly slipped and fell. Carpet had holes and stains. Furniture had seen better days.

Tired

The hotel is old and looking tired. Carpets are stained, long corridors with low ceilings, reception looks dated and outside is in a state of disrepair. The hotel is in need of a refurb. On the positive side. There are good views from the rooftop bar and the pool was nice. On balance, we feel that the hotel was not good value for money.

Weekend at KK

Convenient location, some staff are courteous but not all. At breakfast I insisted on getting coffee myself at the coffee machine as I found a strand of hair in my coffee the day before. Many flies at the restaurant as the fish market and sea is right across the hotel. The hotel must find a way to address this as it's unhygienic.
