Very central and not bad value for money

I stayed 5 nights. The location of this hotel is good. Short walk to food street.
On my check in, the staff told me to pay for the 5 nights & taxes. I told him i have paid & booked via Expedia. He said his system showed that i have not paid. I showed him the receipt but he insisted to collect the taxes from me which i paid. On the day check out another staff served me & refunded RM$50 to me because she said i have paid during booking via expedia.
During check in , i told the staff do not allocate last room for me & he said room is in the middle which i am fine but when i reached the room it was the last room.
I was shocked to know that their housekeeping is at 6pm.
I went out and returned to the room in the afternoon & room is not clean yet so when i called the housekeeping, she didnt explain to me why the room is not clean & just say housekeeping at 6pm.
The housekeeping is on alternate days, so during no cleaning day i asked to change the bathing towels & was told have to wait till evening because not enough towels to change.

The hotel was very nice and in a central location. The room was lovely BUT I didn’t get much sleep as it was very noisy. I was in a room which had an adjoining door - no soundproofing at all with the room next door. It sounded like the family staying there were in my actual room it was so loud. If you come to stay, ask for a room without an adjoining door!

It's well maintained, and is close to Kamtar, George Town, 1st Avenue Shopping Mall and plenty of eateries around; and can easily access further away by Grab. I like its reasonable good size swimming pool. Buffet breakfast is a delight with plenty of selection. Room is spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.
