Arranged and confirmed with the Front desk the night before a late checkout 1pm instead of 12noon. 12:15p the front desk call to say checkout was at 12:00 noon. I told him that we had arranged a late checkout, was told it was impossible. We were already packing so we rushed to get out. When we got down to check out the clerk said if we wanted to, we could go back up to the room until 1pm.

Hotel des Alpes is a good choice for a short stay (1-2 nights). It’s small and in a very busy location, so it’s not a luxuriant option. But, for convenience to transportation (train & bus), central location for walking the city, and reasonable cost in an expensive city/country, it’s perfect.

Easy location from the train. Loved the amenities in the lobby and it was very clean with comfortable beds and pillows.

Convenient location for transportation, dining, shopping, etc. The facility and the room were clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you.
