"Pleasant riad with helpful staff. About a 10 minute walk to the historical ramparts. Portugese Cistern is closed for repairs. About 1/2 hour walk to area with choices of restaurants. Area around the riad was not a touristed area at all. We stopped in El Jadida en route to Casablanca instead of returning to Marrakech from Essaouira, and travelling to Casablanca from Marrakech. However, in hindsight that might have been a better option. "

"This riad is a gem. Our room was huge, clean and very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly, even bringing us a wonderful bottle of wine with nuts and chips on our first of two nights. It was all very comfortable and I would recommend this riad. "

"This is a great riad, and possibly the best place to stay in Safi. Ask a local how to find it, initially; they all know the place and it is hard to find if you don't know. It is fairly simple, but comfortable, quiet, clean, traditional and cosy. We were not given the room we booked, and had two singles instead of a double, hence the 4/5 stars, but otherwise we enjoyed a delightful stay here. "

The accommodation was nice with just a few things that needed to be attended to: no toilet paper when I arrived (10.30pm), Wifi would not work for my phone for some reason which was annoying as I needed it to book accomm for the next night, no bottle of water left (as with other accomm less pricey). "So obviously the hotel industry is hurt during the pandemic, but the description of this hotel is misleading. It promised bottled water and welcome drinks: neither were available as the hotel doesn’t have the money for it anymore. In the room I was in was an ant graveyard - countless dead ants over all surfaces (counter, toilet, shower, toilet paper, even some in the bed). I spent the first 30 minutes of my stay cleaning up the room with sanitary wipes. Grime, cobwebs, and dead ants covered wipe...

"Nice apartment at the quiet end of Oualidia beach. Everything was communicated clearly before we arrived and Hachem helped us get a taxi when we left. There are some grocery stores and a restaurant very close by."

Wonderful experience

"We had such a wonderful stay at Ville de Joubert. Wafa was incredibly helpful and really made sure we had a lovely stay. Nabil the restaurant manager pulled out all the stops ensuring my partner had an incredible birthday, we had requested a cake and they delivered a tiramisu cake with his name on it! Even making sure it was a surprise. Wafa also put us in touch with a friend of hers, Aziz who drove us around and really made sure we could get to places! Highly recommend this to anyone who wants a calming place surrounded by the most beautiful of views. "

"Had an amazing stay! This hotel is fantastic—great views, spotless rooms, and all the essential amenities like hot water, AC, and fresh bed linens. The staff is incredibly friendly, with "Fadil" standing out for being especially helpful and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The breakfast was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. I would definitely love to stay here again next time. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!"
