I had to wait 10 minutes to check in and didn't get the room I paid for. The front desk person also made a big deal about using "3rd party apps" for booking which was so much harder for them.
The person I spoke with two days later was incredibly helpful, though. I appreciated their efficiency at straightening out the room situation and getting me a refund.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are sorry we did not meet your expectations. Sometimes with third parties, they will push reservations through when we are sold out of certain rooms and will over book us. I am sorry you took it that way of saying it was harder for us, which it is not. Also, I am sorry to hear the baby gate affected your stay, the gate is for guest not to go behind the desk because with the new store our night people do not like people going behind there. With it being summertime and most of our staff are full time working moms, we sometimes have emergency with bring our kids to work but we try not to affect our job duties, but I do apologize. The staff were great and friendly, the breakfast was good, the pool area was nice.
The downside was that they needed to make sure their rooms were completely cleaned. Especially the bathroom, there was a lot of hair on the floor (which the staff was super nice about cleaning it) but then there was soap smeared all over the dispenser in the shower and quite a few pieces of hair in the shower area. The rest of the room was great and seemed pretty clean.
