I love the Hampton Inn in Douglas. We stay at no other hotel anytime we are there.
Wonderful staff !! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Property didn’t have back up generator after hurricane it was left with no power

During your stay, Douglas, Ga experienced the worst natural disaster it had seen in the last 50 years. We are absolutely grateful that the death and destruction was not greater. Unfortunately, our property did lose power after midnight on the final night of your stay, which it had never experienced in almost 30 years of business. We offer our most sincere apology for the disruption you experienced. To avoid inconvenience of our esteemed guests, we unfortunately had to cancel upcoming reservations because the entire town was without power and water. We are most grateful for the graciousness we experienced from most everyone. We appreciate you all!

There was no hot water so we couldnt take a shower. Breakfast was good.

The front desk staff were warm and super helpful. Very convenient and the only place we’ll stay in Douglas!

Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel was friendly, helpful and seemed to have a desire to help. Our thanks to the front desk clerks, the kitchen staff that provided our breakfasts, and the cleaning staff that cleaned our room and provided clean towels. Y'all were awesome. We will definitely be staying at the Hampton Inn the next time we visit Douglas, GA.
