The hotel in the heart of district 1, so you’re close to everything. Majority of staff was welcoming- but one front doorman scammed me and called for a taxi, stating it would be 200k VND when my Grab app said it would only be 14k! My room smelled of strong bleach the entire stay (I guess it’s good to know they cleaned, but I debated wearing a mask whilst indoors). What was the downfall was when in the middle of the night, I woke up to my door being opened. Thankfully, I had my bolt on! I checked to make sure I wasn’t dreaming and sure enough, my bolt was moved indicating someone opening the door. I called front desk to inquiring if someone had come up, they said no but would check security footage. Shortly thereafter, I was informed that it was housekeeping. The hotel sent an apology fruit tray which was very kind of them, however- does housekeeping really barge in late at night esp without announcing themselves? I traveled alone and felt very uneasy.

At the onset, please accept my apologies on behalf of the team for the less-than-acceptable experience you had whilst in-house.We will reinforce our training programs to avoid similar oversights from happening again, especially the one that involved our Housekeeping colleague who mistakenly opened your door which is a huge concern for us. On another note, I would like to address the feedback about how our colleague was trying to scam you as I believe that it could have been a misunderstanding potentially due to the language barrier or he just didn't understand your requirement. Nevertheless, we will investigate to uncover any wrongdoing, if any. Our Concierge Team has received praise and recognition for helping guests retrieve lost items and or deal with erring drivers and service providers, and other incidents, so this feedback is surprising, at least for me.We will keep you posted on any updates regarding your stay as soon as we are able.Meanwhile, we wish you a memorable celebration of the holidays!Most sincerely,AlbertALBERT LAFUENTEGeneral Manager

Overall hotel is beautiful and location is excellent. But room shows sign of age and its not well kept

I have spoken to our Housekeeping and Maintenance Teams about your concern on the room being not well-kept. This is a huge concern for us as everything should be working and in pristine condition, especially in our main source of business - the rooms. Staying at Sedona Suites was highly convenient as it was located in/next to Saigon Centre which has a lot of dining and shopping options. It is also next to the Ben Thanh Market and within walking distance to many other tourist attractions. We booked the 3 bedroom suite for our family of 5 and it was very spacious and clean. The view from our room was amazing and there were no issues with noise at all despite being in a central location. One thing to note is that you do have to use 2 different elevators to access the hotel rooms - in case walking may be an issue for some. Otherwise, would recommend Sedona Suites!

The staff were incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The food and the view were great, would definitely recommend anyone staying in Ho Chi Minh City to stay at Sedona Suites
