NicoMat Rooms were beyond our expectations. The building was so thoughtfully renovated - the spaces are beautiful and efficient and we were wishing we had spent another night. It is in the centre of town and close to everything. The breakfast was outstanding - we highly recommend it all!

Fantastic room in the heart of Piazza del Mercato. There’s free street parking if you’re quick and lucky enough to find it. Other street parking is free from 7:30 pm until 8 am. We parked in a parking structure so didn’t have to worry about moving the car. Paid about 5.50 euro per day. Breakfast was awesome. Anna was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in great tiwn
Posted 2 Jun 2024 on HotelsLovely boutique room, so close to the centre of the old town, and easy walk from the station (10 minutes and this with luggage on wheels). Breakfast 8-10, well presented, nice breakfast in charming room. Our host, Anna, was terrific- easy check in, had already advised on best way for us to get from Domodossola to Milan/Malpensa airport when departing so we had out bus tickets booked and so easy transfer to the airport (bus from station, direct), and she provided all assistance requested. As we needed to leave early, she provided early breakfast, and then offered to drive us to the station- we didn’t need this but lovely offer. Domodossola a remarkable little town, Saturday markets take over the town, and bars, restaurants buzzing. We had great meals and wines, and the stay at NicoMat made it all so accessible with great host. And the train from Locarno to Domodossola a must!

Posted 1 Jun 2024 on HotelsGreat spot for Domodossola stay, short walk from station with luggage (on wheels, easy walk down Main Street). Right around from market piazza- markets, bars, restaurants, historic town centre etc. Anna so helpful in all respects, nice breakfast included.

In predestrian zone. Very nice plaza. The building is an interesting mix of old and new. Fabulous breakfast. Great host.
