"Had such a great time at Gava! Valentina and Andrew were both so sweet, and they gave me such great tips for what to do and where to go. The hostel was very clean; you can tell they put a lot of effort into keeping the area tidy! The hostel itself is basically a room off of the main apartment with 4 beds in it, and all common spaces (kitchen, living room, bathrooms, etc.) are shared, which is great for connecting with new people. "Wonderful for the price. Basic hostel accommodations-- a little better than most. Unbeatable location & very helpful staff. Sketchy wifi & ran out of water a few times but nothing terrible. Would definitely stay at Afreeka's again."

"I am having a nightmarish, hellish time here. The rooms here are like prison cells, quite literally. They are not like in the pictures, they are so small that the bed is up against the walls on 3 sides. They have one bare lightbulb and are dark and dreary. The air conditioning doesn't work in any of the rooms. In fact homeless shelters are nicer than this. The place is not as described. There are not english speaking staff.
