"The staff was very helpful and kind. The room is quite small but that was fine for two people. We didn’t find any sign to put at the door so we don’t get disturbed by morning cleanings, but somehow the staff seem to know exactly when you leave the room and clean it, even in the afternoon. "this was a brief snow holiday to the Sierre Chevallier area. The Auberge de Violaine is a 5 minute walk from the Monnetier lift base. Its a quiet well presented small hotel / large guesthouse. Food was great, just what you need after a day on the hill rooms were tidy and clean beds were wonderful"
