Relax Time
Posted 13 Sep 2018 on HotelsThe grounds and our villa were immaculate, the European breakfast buffet very tasty and in a lovely indoor/outdoor setting. Our villa had a large balcony overlooking the neighbouring bushlands with the occasional buffalo and lots of birds and squirrels.
On the negative side there's no pool for swimming. The depth is only 80cm, which is between knee and hip for most people. That leaves not much to do other to relax on the balcony. There is nothing around within walking distance, but maybe reachable with the free bicycles. The friendly receptionist has organised us a motorcycle for 150 baht per day, which was great to explore the local areas such as the Doi Saket temple, markets, Tao Garden retreat and the dam as well as a few well hidden small eateries. Chiang Mai is about a 40 minute car drive away (shuttle service offered free by arrangement).

Very quiet. Great food. Relaxing.
Posted 10 Oct 2017 on HotelsFitness room is very minimal. Food is very good. Breakfast is large european style. Caters to elderly persons. Like most resort out of Chiang Mai, it is hard to get.

Peaceful

Pros: Well trained and friendly staff
A bit of everything here. An immaculately run "village" - part tourist rural hotel, part therapeutic resort, part long term care home (I think). Super clean and well maintained. The staff are lovely, from front of house to gardeners. A restaurant on campus with lots of authentic thai dishes but other choices besides. Rooms have mini bars not overpriced. TV with multichannel. you can borrow bikes foc and explore the byways around the area. Free shuttlebus service into Chaing Mei. What's not to like? Ideal for older travellers especially if you are a teeny bit worried about any health problems potentially sufacing while on holiday.

Great Hotel - Great Staff - Excellent for resting
Posted 14 Jan 2017
Pros: Staff, facilities, food, environment
Location: Cycling, visiting Chiang Mai and some small surrounding villages
We got to this hotel troughout Expedia. It was a great surprise when arriving: Great facilitie and very comfortable rooms.
The staff is very helpful and the food is great. Excellent for resting or for cooling down after traveling, such was our case.
The place is awsome, located outside Chiang Mai. Strongly recommended.

Top quality resort
Posted 9 Jan 2017 on HotelsHighly recommended, high quality and low density resort. Excellent room and bathroom. Prompt golf buggy shuttle to/from reception/restaurant. Friendly and professional staff. Will definitely stay again. Suits those happy to drive themselves as it is a bit out of the city which is worth it for the peace and quiet at night. Child and senior friendly.
