I’ll start with the pro’s because that’s the shortest. It’s a short drive to the beach, only about 4 min, and 15 min walk to the restaurants in Dewey. The staff were friendly as well. Cons: this hotel has a big problem with cleanliness. There was a large COCKROACH crawling on our TV stand at 9am the morning we were supposed to check out. We immediately left after that. But even before seeing that we already decided we were not returning to the hotel. The bathroom seemed dirty, the ceiling was peeling above the shower. No one cleaned the room or brought fresh towels. The floors seemed dirty. The breakfast was subpar. The hot breakfast wasn’t real eggs or meat and tasted terrible. Could only eat bagels or cereal. We booked this hotel for the breakfast and I would have rather paid to go eat breakfast somewhere else. The air conditioner had a really weird smell to it when on. And the bed was terrible. We have neck and back pain everyday from sleeping on the bed and couldn’t wait to return home to be able to sleep again. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The lobby is nice and staff are friendly but that’s it.

We booked this hotel specifically because there was an indoor pool we could use. It was one of the amenities we booked for. However, during our stay the pool was closed to rebalance the pool chemicals. According to the staff that we talked to the pool was shut down by some sort of monitoring authority because the levels of chemicals in the pool were way off? We were told this when we asked about the situation. They told us they were unable to take off the charge for one night because we booked through expedia and encouraged us to book through them in future (even though the better deals are coming through expedia). They told us they could offer a discount on a future stay. I will not be staying again so that wasn’t very helpful. We were also there in the summer, not the off season (we had hoped that any balancing of pool chemicals would have been done well in advance of heavy summer traffic.) Overall kind of disappointing.

Loved this property! Ill be back. Sadly i was too busy to enjoy the pool but it looked amazing. The staff was as friendly as can be and truly enjoyed the free breakfast

The hotel explained that they dont give an invoice as the contract was via you but you ahve never sent me an invoice for my ecords - NOT GOO FROM YOU

We are sorry for any inconvenience that you are having concerning your receipt. The standard policy is when booked through a third party. Your email confirmation is usually your receipt. If you do need a receipt that we do ask that you contact Expedia for a receipt. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay. The area was close to everything. Room was comfortable and clean. Only thing we’d had issue with was shower was not working properl. Could not really stand under shower because of the head would not stay in correct position. We did not inform desk. We only had a one night visit so didn’t need to complain. We did like everything else. We would stay again

The continental breakfast area was always tidy, well stocked with healthy food alternatives, and the gentleman overseeing it was very attentive - kudos there. There were a few maintenance issues in the room that weren't show-stoppers: the temperature adjustment switch on one of the two AC units was broken, so the temp was locked into 67 degrees which can be a bit too cold so we'd either turn it on or off as needed. One of the two wide screen tv's only provided audio. Again, not enough of a hassle to make a big fuss. Overall, a nice place to stay - we'll be back.
