Everything was great until checkout when the maid staff told them I used two bottles of water from the mini bar. I explained three times I purchased water and beer and had it in the fridge and that’s all I drank. They either didn’t understand my English or didn’t care. I don’t care about the 40000 dong. It was the principal of being charged for something I didn’t use. In fact I left them a free beer!!!!

I really enjoyed staying here. The room size was smaller than other hotels of which i have stayed, but that did not affect me in any way because i wasnt here to visit the room, i was here to visit the Vietnam. Hence, the room met expectations as it was clean. I was dead smack in the middle of everything i needed and more. I came here to celebrate my birthday and the hotel staff surprised me with a birthday cake in my room. This act of recognition resonated deeply with me. I will stay here again in the near future.

Good for a short stay. Bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast always satisfactory for the price paid.

The location is very nice. Rooms are small as are bathrooms so if you plan to spend time in the room then look elsewhere, else it's ok. Decent breakfast options, not great.

Close to downtown. Not the best surrounding area. Staff were excellent. Dining options were very good. Pool was small but was fine for a quick dip. Tour pickup came right to the hotel.

Wouldn’t stay here again. In a really terrible part of Saigon. Reception staff mucked up my booking and were very resistant to help. Only demanding firmly changed their attitude. Rooms are small and poorly designed. Bathrooms are a joke. Feels like showering inside a fishbowl. There are a plethora of better places. Don’t bother.

Ramada Encore by Wyndham D1: A Central Location with a Few Compromises The Ramada Encore by Wyndham D1 boasts a prime location in the heart of District 1, making it a convenient choice for business travelers. However, it falls short of being a suitable option for holidaymakers seeking a more spacious and relaxing environment. The rooms are undeniably cramped, with a particularly awkward design element: the translucent glass separating the shower and toilet. This lack of privacy can be quite uncomfortable and detracts from the overall experience. The rooftop offers stunning views of the city skyline, providing a redeeming quality to the hotel. However, accessibility is a major issue, with stairs leading to the restaurant and other areas, making it difficult for guests with mobility challenges. The breakfast buffet is a highlight, offering a decent variety of options to start your day. Yet, the overall impression of the hotel is one of cramped quarters and limited facilities. In conclusion, the Ramada Encore by Wyndham D1 is best suited for business travelers who prioritize location over spaciousness and privacy. If you're seeking a more comfortable and accessible hotel for a leisurely stay, you might want to explore other option

Best little hotel in HCM staff and absolute delight I go there every time I am in HCM which is often only downside is the area and dreaded bikes on the pavement outside otherwise a wonderful hotel highly recommended
