LOVED this place. The owner came to check me in as my flight came in late and also took me to get some food and change my money. HOSPITALITY to another level. Awesome place.

Basic place to stay with WIFI. You Need a Car.
Posted 6 Jul 2022 on HotelsTony the owner was helpful, took me to nearest grocery first day. When I decided to leave after 3 days, he decided to refund me the difference I had paid. I left because location not what I needed, tried to arrange beach transport was quote $70USD to go to the beach, I had hoped to swim more. Apparently the local pool broken at that time. There is one resort on island, that is also not a very swimmable place. sadly Trinidad has not moved forward in 40 years, saw what I needed to see in a day downtown. Met with people i needed to meet with so a mosquito room in a house in the hills was not for me. I flipped to Miami $50 a night motel on the beach. Now, if you can do basic, this is the place with lots of space during carnival. but its basic. Wifi good. You will need a car if you want to stay here to save money. MaxiTaxi takes you downtown, you need to know where to find bus to go anywhere its all from Downtown, 20 min maxi taxi ride.

We always try to make the guest as happy as possible. While we are not on the beach. The nearest beach Macqueripe is about 25 mins from here. The other option is Maracas Bay a 30 min drive over the Northern Range. However the easiest and cheapest way to get there is via maxi taxi from Port of Spain. Good enough for a short stay

Overall the place was ok but there were spiderwebs in the garden, the chairs weren’t cleaned off to enjoy it. There was a Spiderweb in the totaster so I didn’t want to cook anything. The fridge was rusted with chipped paint. If the furniture was upgraded and a thorough cleaning was done I would have enjoyed my stay.

Comfortable and Resonable Priced
Posted 10 May 2017 on HotelsAmazing three days stay at Tony's Guest House. Very comfortable, warm homely place. The guest house is near to all local shops and transportation, yet extremely quiet and private. Tony's Guest House will be my place to stay anytime I am on Vacation in Trinidad.

It was a place of peace wonderful rooms no noise close to the road so u will get transportation easy
