The staff at Dexter Inn is very pleasant my room every evening when I come back was cleaned and made up the floor was taken care of fresh towels, and the smell was wonderful around the whole hotel. I definitely recommend if you’re traveling this is a place to stop.

The towels were very thin and non-absorbent. The soap provided was the extremely small and thin bars. Showering with that was annoying. The refrigerator though worked surprisingly well. It actually got and stayed cold. The lighting in the bathroom area around the mirror wasn't adequate enough.

Ants were on nightstand, desktop, and chair. Furniture was poor condition. Overall cleanliness was good.

The staff was extremely friendly when I went to check in! They were understanding and let me leave 30 minutes late without charging me! Overall a great experience

It's an old country hotel. It's a mix of smoking and non-smoking so outside the room you will smell smoke. Staff was friendly, room was clean. There was an "old" smell to the room, but not surprising for the age of the hotel.

Did not like dingy hard towels ,
Staff implied my daughter might have been attempting to steal towels when all she wanted was to replace dirty towels for clean towels after 2 night stay.Dirty underwear left by previous occupant, filthy appliances ( microwave had big crumbs).Would not stay there ever again!

According to surveillance camera and housekeeping notes on your first night stay, your adult daughter pulled the housekeeping cart in hallway and was going through the supplies: when the housekeeper was right there few doors down. We ask the guests to get whatever supply they need from housekeepers instead of helping themselves with whatever from the cart. Housekeepers do have to keep track of what supplies are on their cart. Can you imagine if every guest goes through the hk cart like that? You stayed in a room for two nights, and did not notify frontdesk of any complaint about dirty appliances or anything wrong with the room, otherwise they would have changed your room or corrected what was wrong with the room. Different housekeeper works on different floors, so it may have been a different hk that worked on your room then the one you had an encounter with. Our housekeepers work hard and come in every day in this day an age when staff is hard to find for cleaning jobs like this.

The front of our parking space was full of cigarette buts. Went to get a shower pulled back the curtain and there was hair on the wall. Carpet was dirty. We left and went to the Travel Lodge. My brother dented a room also my sister in law said there was hair on their shower wall to. Pulled out a chair to sit on and there were only 3 wheels on it.
