Amazing views and nice staff

Posted 28 Dec 2020 on Hotels
The property has amazing view of the valley and tea estates, a waterfall within walking distance. The only downside is that it is away from the Munnar town so you need to travel 10-12 kms to reach the town which adds 1.5 hours of travel to your sightseeing. The staff are super friendly and very nice, food is prepared to your order and is tasty.

Thanks for your review, we are encouraged by your comments. Our resort is situated amidst Nature and such a property cannot be located in Town area hence the distance.

Nice stay !

The approach road is not very good and without proper directions it can be daunting if u are driving at night. However once u reach the place, its beautiful, serene and green. There's a waterfall at walking distance and tea estate opposite the resort. Bird watching is another option. wild elephants maybe hard to chance upon.the pool is not very comfortable but then this is one of the few hotels which offers a pool. I thought it was a bit overpriced but no complaints regarding the comfy unique styled eco-friendly rooms. The restaurant is basic but clean.

breath-taking view

Wild elephant has a perfect location, it's in the middle of the mountains, very quiet and fresh, 20 km far from Munnar, the view is breath-taking. The swimming pool in the middle of a very pretty exotic garden is nice and refreshing. The staff is very kind.

Beautiful resorts with economical range

Posted 10 Apr 2015
Pros: it was very neat and clean , garden and swimming pool was well maintained.
Cons: Food option should be improved mainly for veg section. Pickup and drop arranged by resorts is costly compare to munnar auto and texi stand.
Location: you can go to nice waterfall by walk. enjoy tea garden just behind resorts.
It is little far around 23 KM from Munnar, and some places road is not good. going through forest area and not allowed to go after 7pm due to Wild Elephant. another road is also available through tea garden but more turning road. Resorts location and view was really beautiful. it was well maintained, room was also nicely maintained. Food was good at reasonable rate but having limited options. I think if you tell in advance that what you want to eat then you will get it. weather is little cool compare to munnar. bonfire option is also available but you need to tell in advance to arrange wood. one side of resorts having forest and hill view and backside is tea garden. once you go there then no need to go anywhere.
