"We are Zimbabweans born and bred now living abroad and are used to the bush. We liked the unique setting at the pan. The sign on the main road reads ' For an unforgettable experience'. Unfortunately for us it was for all the wrong reasons. Burst water pipe in the middle of the night flooding upstairs and downstairs.After shoddy repair it was worse than before.The fan was not working, often no electricity, kettle with a square plug not fitting the round socket in the wall. "Another outstanding visit to Ivory Lodge. The courtesy and responsiveness of the staff is without equal. Great game drives. The watering hole just outside the rooms brought an abundance of wildlife. Bathrooms in the rooms could use a bit of updating and wifi in the rooms would be nice. But really very little to complain or worry. This was my 4th visit over the last 25yrs and will definitely come again. "
