"Absolutely gorgeous hotel although so vast, a mobility challenged person might find it daunting. The room was huge and all amenities top notch. The staff were very polite, although as with most hotels in China, one should have a translation app. The cocktail lounge was lovely, with live entertainment by a lovely couple ftom Ukraine. The all day cafe served a wonderful and vast buffet breakfast and dinner. The Teppanyaki restaurant was excellent. Try one of the multicourse set menus. Welcome and departure gift of tins of tea was a nice touch. Highly recommended."

"I had a wonderful stay at Banyan tree Lijiang. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great during my stay. Nevertheless, the hotel and facilities were amazing! Abby, Coco and Xiao Tang at the reception were also amazing and made us all feel so welcome!"
