"Decent place for the price. Looks updated and modern. It was quiet during our visit and is close to everything in Helen. Our room had a very spacious fridge which is great for those who plan to stay more than one night. I would stay again. "

"Like the rest of Helen, this hotel has a German theme. It has a great location, within easy walking distance to the shops and town square in Helen. It is run by a very nice family. They are doing some renovations to the hotel."

"My only complaint was that the first night my sheets smelled like sweat & body odor. I have stayed here before with no issues. They re made our beds & apologized. The food service worker is awesome. Her food is delicious. And i love that she isnt afraid to say have a blessed day!"

"Hotel was in good location to restaurants, etc. Unfortunately, hotel was a little shabby & not very clean. Shower had caked on soap scum on glass. The room stunk of bodies, and the mattress was very worn. There were splatter stains on paint behind the toilet - don't even want to know - and one of the elevators did not work. Parking was very limited near the entrance. There was parking behind the hotel but you had to walk up a hill to get to an entrance. "

"Property was nice, cozy, and quiet. Enjoyed the serenity of the woods and surroundings. Could use newer mattresses on beds, more blankets and towels. "

"The check in lady was so sweet, and the room was very nice for an aging property. Our only real issue was that the dog park area was not well kept - there was damage to part of the fence and people didn't clean up after their pups, so it wasn't safe to turn our puppy loose or play with her off leash."

"The property look like it is not maintained. The sliding pool was gross and not working. Trash cans were all ran over. The dumpsters at the end were nasty. Trash everywhere. "
