Within walking distance to Orebro castle, Svampen, Wadkoping (old town) and Sobi (a pan Asian restaurant). Free wifi, tea, coffee and water available from ground floor, decent gym in basement with weights, weight machines and cardio equipment, and great breakfast (7-11). Storage room available to leave luggage after check-out if needed. Room service (including cleaning) is not assumed and must be requested from reception. Staff were friendly and helpful (including reception, reception and bar staff). I very much enjoyed my two night stay there during midsummer."

"The Steam Hotel is unbelievable. I did not expect such a great facility. We were in Vasteras to visit our son who is studying there, and I booked this hotel with my fingers crossed. Staying at the Steam Hotel was a great experience and if our son stays in Vasteras we will stay there again."
