She made some amazing recommendations for everything from restaurants to a good experienced guide for paragliding in the valley! "Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-)."

"We had such a gorgeous time there and it seemed like such a warm family run place. Trying to be objective, the stairs in our apartment was treacherous and the shower was literally the smallest I’ve ever been in. But it was lovely, it’s hard to explain! I felt I could ask the team for anything and they would try to help. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. "

"We were in a spacious studio, as shown in the photos. And we knew that there was no air conditioning. BUT we did not know that we would be in a slightly below ground floor unit, with windows that could, in practice, only be opened a few inches at the top. AND THERE WERE NO SCREENS. Flying insects could and did fly in. In addition, the couch was worn. The bathroom, while very nice, lacked storage and surface area. The bed had only a foam mattress--no inner spring. "Although this hotel doesn’t have it’s own parking space, yet the 6euro parking lots nearby are a perfect option, it makes us like local and it mean so much to us just being fewer days to live like a local. Breakfast buffet were a good option if you want get on you outing sooner. We very happy with our stay. "

"Loved the breakfast, really great options, above and beyond. Staff courteous and helpful without being overly warm and welcoming. The hot tub/spa is 25 euros per person for 2 hours, honestly this is way too expensive and not clear on hotel listing. The room was spacious with a good view and amenities, loved the little coffee machine.The area itself is very lively with lots to see and do within an easy walk of the hotel."

"This was our favorite hotel on this trip. The staff was amazing and responsive via Expedia contact. Great breakfast. Worth paying for. It was within a walking distance to the next town Saint Vincent. We loved the balconies. The only feedback we have is to get more thick pillows. The pillows were pretty thin."

"Breakfast was amazing! The room was so cozy and the location was great. It was right on the corner so finding it was easy. Keep in mind there isn’t parking directly on site. It’s about 4 euro a night and the garage is about a 5 minute walk. I loved this hotel so much! We also took advantage of the hotels spa and it was wonderful!"
