"Nice decor. Staff found Dark Roast coffee for my husband. But our room was on the fourth floor towards the pool and we heard the children screaming/playing in the pool. Plus the kids would run down the hallways. Breakfast was good."

"Hotel spotless, bed comfortable Disappointed in Marriott! Past President Carter died less than a week before we checked in, flag should have been at half staff, but was at full masts I pointed it out the first evening, I received a so what look. The next morning 9:00 I pointed it out again this time saying I am disappointed with the hotel chain. Later they tried to lower it and it was frozen (it should have been lowered at the proper time and it would not be frozen. Second night it is still not lowered and probably can’t be. I believe the chain needs to send emails telling them when to lower and raise "

"Just passing through and decided to stay the night. Reviews are dark and negative. You get whatcha pd for. Unfortunately the pool is OOO however we weren't needed the pool this journey. Room is spacious, clean. They could leave hygiene items in room for use yet WE plan for the just in case and bring our needs, from home. Cute lil downtown area, small town feel. Nice homes about and they...the Locals appear to CARE for where they live ❤️ "

"A little hard to find in the dark as the house number is not at the road but on the house with no light on it. But Barb told us she will put something up on the mail box once it warms up. Excellent hot breakfast! Good value here."
