"This was my second visit in the last 2 months, in October I stayed 4 nights during the week for business. This recent stay was only 1 night. But EVERYTHING was extrordinary, from the comfort of the bed, the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel proper. And it has an indoor pool to enjoy. "Spacious clean room with all necessary features.Pleasant area especially with the first snow that I was lucky to catch.Unfortunately the snow brought a power outage that was eventually fixed.Overall was a good experience."

"The owner or manager was quite accommodating with early checkin for our luggage and let us use her mini refrigerator. She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home. She made a delicious breakfast accommodating my gluten and dairy intolerance. The bed and room were totally comfortable! The only drawbacks were sharing the bathroom with the three other rooms making six people using the one bathroom. A water filter is also needed for the brown water."

"Black Bear Lodge is the perfect place to lay your head at night after a long day of hiking and outdoor adventures! The host was very kind as she provided light breakfast each morning (fruit, tea, coffee, muffins, croissants, bottled water), and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area!"

"An amazing inn. Well designed and comfortable. Totally new. Feels like home away from home. Natalie and Aldo are outstanding hosts, kind and generous. There is a fire ring for s'mores and plenty of space for kids to run around. We will definitely be back. "

"First thing notice was the sulfur smell from the local water source from the bathrooms but very clean and well kept. Staff and owner are friendly and attentive. Would remocommend "

"A few repairs that could be made but overall fantastic for the price! Definitely would stay here again. The couple running it were also very nice! "

"Clean quiet space. Nice landing spot for a stay in the Catskills!"

"Only open seasonally. They closed Sept. 6th. Had a booking for Oct. Not sure whybit let us book but they were not open and we had to scramble to find a playlce to stay in an area that was very booked up. "
