"One of my go to places when in town but unfortunately I feel it wasn’t quite what is used to be. The breakfast for sure was a disappointment. "Unique hotel in picturesque surroundings. The rooms are beautifully decorated, all in different styles and colors. We stayed in room 8, Gustaf Boman, and it was absolutely amazing. Dark colors and lots of gold. Bathtub next to bed, terrace, sofa area, comfy large bed and lots of space. We’ll come back!"

"From the outside you wouldn’t expect much from this hotel, but the pleasant girl at the front desk and the size of the rooms made this one of our favorite stays during our 10 day trip. The dining room was open all night with drinks and snacks! The room was huge with a large bathroom as well. Beds were very comfortable. "We stayed here as attending a friend's wedding and booked a triple room. What we got was a chalet with two separate bedrooms which was brilliant. Breakfast was in the castle cellar - plenty of choice and very nice quirky space. The food at the wedding was absolutely fantastic with great service.
