"Great value hotel ideally situated on the outskirts of Leeds. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, parking is free for guests, rooms are spacious but the air conditioning didn't seem to be working and it was red hot, so wasn't the greatest night's sleep. Would still look to stay there in future if we visit Leeds though. "

"We were in town for an athletics competition and looking for somewhere cheap to stay considering the price we paid was really surprised by what a top-notch hotel it was. Really friendly helpful staff and a very delicious breakfast can thoroughly recommend. Only thing was paying £15 for parking for a few hours "

"Lovely location, handy for this part of Sheffield. Hotel is quite used by now - ready for a spruce up, from head to toe. Nice, helpful staff. Parking included in room rate is an advantage. "

"Nice clean rooms but a little date very friendly staff and maids for the room where amazing and couldn’t do enough for us to make our special for an early valentines night Food was nice with a decent selection of bar food unfortunately the steak house wasn’t open Sunday evening The spa and pool area was great but again a little dated all facilities were working and the showers were decent "

"It was a lovely stay other than the water in the bathroom couldn’t be cooled down. Was a uncomfortable hot shower Have to mention also that they were trodden in crisps from the bed to the door "

"Check in wasn’t great - there was no real reception and they kept phoning prior to the visit to see if there were definitely 3 people coming, when I had booked a triple room. Turns out they were doing work and we ended up with 2 doubles, which was fine, but don’t understand why they didn’t just say that in the first place. But good value hotel and very clean. Nice bar area."

"Had a really good stay at Mercure Sheffield Parkway. Had to mark down slightly on a couple of things. 1, had a problem with the tv, which was sorted, but then happened again. 2, bed was comfortable but found the pillows a bit too firm. Otherwise the room was very good, with plenty of space, and a good bathroom especially the shower which was spacious and hot. Really handy to have the small fridge too. And dogs allowed , yippee. "
