"The location of this hotel is EXCELLENT, in that it is located just behind the St Francis Cathedral, and two blocks from the Plaza, the center of Santa Fe's historic district. We return to Santa Fe a few times each year, and have always wanted to stay at this particular location. The amenities of the hotel include a happy hour with lots of food, sufficient for a meal. "The location, the grounds and the lovely Staab House bar were the best things about the stay. Our king bed fireplace room was fine but very small. Plastic cups in the bathroom and paper cups for the a espresso felt a bit like a typical budget hotel, not a luxury resort. There was an industrial motor/humming sound much of the night in our room. On the bright side, we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves on February 1! Every staff person was excellent— friendly and helpful. "

"Expedia messed up my booking. When i arrived the Hotel had no idea about anything we were not in system. Thankfully the lady at desk was finally able to add us by typing the entire reservation in computer..Expedia needs to WAKE UP!!!"

"Eventually I was able to stay at my favorite hotel in Santa Fé. I love the minimalist monochromatic Spanish Style. Bedding was comfortable and lush. Very convenient location. Hotel dining options not good but everything within walking distance, that said the quality of tea available in the lobby in the morning was perfect. "

"The property was conveniently located in an area to travel around to Ojo caliente, Santa fe, Jemez areas in new mexico. Hotel was was clean, comfortable and safe. Staff was very accommodating to switch our room due to low water pressure in previous room. "

"The rooms are standard as anywhere else. The bathroom had minor damage but nothing that kept me from using the utilities. The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant/bar (The Social) onsite. The breakfast was the same each day, but it is a hot breakfast. The restaurant does offer a discount for staying there. The hotel has a shuttle but it wasn't always available the times I needed. Overall, it is a good place to stay and be close to downtown Santa Fe. "
