"This property has three types of accommodations - the hotel itself, cabins and a lodge which are all close to the main hotel. The main hotel does not offer king beds and if you want this type of room, you will be assigned to the lodge. This building was once used to house staff. That tells you all you need to know - bare bones, but decent. No staff are onsite at the lodge. It is primarily for sleeping. There are 4 chairs in a little sitting area right by the front door. "Greatocation for access to all areas of Yellowstone. Room was spacious,.comfortable and the little fridge was handy. Coin operated laundry nearby too. Staff were friendly and helpful, had to wait to check-in due to being very busy, but all went smoothly."

"One of the most historic old lodges!"

"Wonderful staff with good service. Everything was clean. Wish the hot tub was covered since we visited in winter. And it would have been nice if there were more choices for food on site or nearby, but we did go in the off-season. Also we love the fact that they offer free s’mores so you can repast your marshmallow over the fire pit and enjoy beautiful views. "

"Nice cozy room — nice sized and clean. Check in was interesting since no clerk present and it took a few (Lobby unheated) minutes for person to show up. He was very nice!! Expedia description included breakfast but it’s not included during the winter months. "

"Our room was SPOTLESS! They kept it so clean! And the lobby was always clean and tidy even though it was snowy/muddy outside! We were always greeted with a friendly smile and a hello! Highly recommended-great room-super clean with easy access and close to downtown shopping but still nice and quiet"
