"The general ambience of the hotel is very calm and pleasant. But it lacks attention to detail. Replenishment of the coffee was a bit lax. Decaf coffee pods replaced by normal and i’m not allowed to drink caffeine! The bed springs were sticking through and the hotel needs a refurbishment. The restaurant is okay fo breakfast but not for an evening meal. My big gripe is that management couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge my concerns It’s convenient and staff try hard but … "

"Much needed short family break to go to Snozone, iFly, Cineworld, crazy golf and more. Hotel was the perfect location for this. Room was very comfortable and buffet brekfast was very good. "

"This is a beautifully adapted Tudor Manor House into a first-rate hotel. The hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful to view and the private chapel is an added delight to visit. Staff were helpful and the food was very good both for breakfast and dinner. I was disappointed that I could not get wifi in my bedroom which was a problem as I had work to complete in the evening. I managed well once downstairs in the Tudor Hall. I knew there was no lift but the second floor required four flights...

"I booked a last minute stay for one night for my mother, son and myself. Communications were excellent before arrival, parking in hotel car park was easy and check in was efficient. As it is a listed building there is no lift which was an issue for my mum who struggles with stairs ( we were on top floor) but for myself and son, it was fine. We stayed in room 52 in the main original building. It was huge, nicely decorated, a newly renovated white marble effect bathroom and a separate...

"Lovely lovely getaway with a beautiful view very tranquil, we came for Valentine’s Day and had the lodge room. Would defo visit again, staff were very attentive and polite. Very relaxing break, lucky there’s an onsite restaurant because it’s located in the woods but that was the whole idea of the getaway to escape the fast life. Room was very very clean and smelt amazing. Overall, I would give it a 8.5/10, an on site convenience store would be great."

"Lovely stay once again at this hotel and my kids loved it and staff very friendly.. One issue was the washing basin plumbing was very annoying as everytime you use the tap the drain make continuous loud noise for about 5mins and that was very annoying "
