"The room had its own hot spring and living area, making it feel just like home—perfect for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated having access to the laundry facilities and massage chair. However, the two golden lion statues at the entrance were a bit intimidating."

"Property is high up a mountain secluded. I did not get the chance to explore the area so I'm not sure if there's other options in, but our option was thru a taxi. Definitely would have to drive up to get up there. The facilities had a fantastic view. The hotel also had a spacious onsen, very well equipped. "This is my go-to hotel when I am in Oshu. The onsen, breakfast, amenities and location are excellent for me. It would be nice to have a second pillow and slightly taller tables and chairs - I am 193 cm tall. - but that is just being picky. "

"Peaceful, remote onsen amongst beautiful forests covered with the colors of fall. We had a wonderful experience here. Staff service was great and very friendly. Although the concierge and head waiter don't speak English, they were quick to seek the help of 2 colleagues who could communicate with us in English (the chef and waitress). The meals (dinner and breakfast) were excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in these parts."
