"Property appeared to be newly renovated. Lovely apartment within easy walking distance to main square and many restaurants. Kitchen facilities in apartment were minimal, but we did not prepare any of our meals, so that was not an issue for us. "Great spot, friendly staff, parking is outside of the Old town, so you do have to walk a little from the car. Breakfast was great, with the local food spread. Service was great, not 24/7. Make sure to get two room keys, because if one stops working and you are out at night, it will be an issue getting back to the room. Emilija the manager was wonderful, thanks. "

"Property is on a hill with several signs leading to it and a very small area for parking. There was no reception area and no indication of where to go. We literally walked into one of the doors, walked down a hall and found our names on pieces of paper stuck in the doors. One room had a leak in the bathroom. The rooms were clean and quiet and there was a common kitchen area and beautiful view from a covered common patio area. "

"Wonderful room on the 3rd floor with huge balcony and a view of the lake and beyond. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good, plenty to choose from. No toaster for the bread ? We ate at the rooftop restaurant which was ok but the stand out was our lovely waiter who did an excellent job looking after a full restaurant. "

"The best things about this place is locaiton. If you have balcony room you was see wonderful sunrise. The owner is helpful and friendly. The cleanliness unfortunately is not that good. Maybe it was winter season and they did not that much focus on that. Location is super. Everything is there what you need for comfort stay."

"A wonderful run family hotel. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly. Jacuzzi in the room. Good breakfast with all you can eat. Would definately stay there again if I returned to Ohrid. Checkout was 10am, but for some reason I thought it was 11am. I was taking my time and could see everyone leaving. I pointed I thought it was 11am. No problem they said. I checked out about 10.25am. Super place. Comfy bed too. Piping hot water."

"Daniel and his mom have taken care of me as though I am family. I intended to stay for 3 days and have extended to over 2 weeks. The apartment is well equipped and the bed is extremely comfortable. The apartment is in a perfect location with many restaurants, supermarkets, cafes and shops. "

"Nice small apartment. It’s clean You have to contact the owner to meet you at a check point to take you to the property. Several things to consider: 1- the address is not the same as the one mentioned on Expedia, it’s up the hill and so exhausting to walk it up if you are coming from the beach or the center of the city. I appreciate though the upgrade to lake view which was beautiful view 2- you have to pay for cleaning fees and some taxes on the spot 3- A/C is not for free which is weird, I...

"The apartment is a perfect place to stay in Ohrid. It is across from the Old Town (one street over) which has the majority of things to see and places to eat. Don't be put off by the exterior of the building - the apartment is incredibly comfortable, clean and well-maintained. "

"We stayed at Villa Chingo for 3 nights in the top floor 3 person room. The accomodation had amazing balcony views and was the perfect place for a peaceful start to our holiday. The premises were clean and there were kitchen facilities to use. The host Lupco was great- very friendly and helpful- he was always available for any questions and help. The one downside is that the location is quite far from Ohrid town, so unless you want peaceful break or have a car, it may be a task to get a cab or use local buses. There is a nearby restaurant which is amazing and a small conveniece store 15 mins walk. Id highly recommend considering these premises."
