"Excellent apartment, had everything we needed and more. Very spacious, big comfy bed, large bathroom. Close to the old town and handy bus stop if you're coming from the airport by bus. Easy check in and good communication from the host. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again"

"Here's the edited version: --- What a fantastic option for anyone on a tight budget! I booked this hotel for my son for 8 nights at the last minute when other plans unexpectedly fell through. Despite the affordable price, he got a clean, warm room equipped with a TV and a private bathroom with a shower. The TV even allowed him to watch YouTube, which was incredibly convenient. "This was a very comfortable and large apartment with two rooms and a kitchen/bath. There was a washer and dryer which we did not use but were happy to see. There is a shower and a tub! The beds were extremely comfortable - nice and firm mattresses and everything was very clean. The owner was very friendly and happy to help with details. There is a very clear video showing you how to find the door to the place, and the area is very quiet. When we stayed there was some construction in the next lot...

"My family and I had a wonderful holiday staying at Riga Lux apartments. We decided to spend the holidays in Riga this year as we gathered our family from the UK, KSA to be with our son in Riga were he is going to school. We were very pleased with the apartment as it allowed us to stay in a home environment for Christmas."

"Very hot days when we were there. Some fans had been great in the apartment. The entrance is pretty dark in the night so little hard for elderly people to see the stairs. There is some noise from the street in the night and early mornings. "

"Nice area, walking to downtown, big rooms, with decent kitchen, no TV, shower very tight you can pass from hot to cold water just by moving accidentally with your elbow. There is a bad odor coming from the water pipes in all the building (old installations)."

"Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice."

Great value hotel

"Good value hotel in a great location near the 22 bus stops to and from the airport. On the edge of the old town so within walking distance of all the attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, I paid 16 euros to extend check out from 12 to 3pm and there’s a room that you can store your luggage in. Although it’s a little dated this is a lovely clean and safe hotel. As a solo female traveller I would definitely recommend it "
