"The desk worker (I assumed also the owner) was friendly and helpful. He showed general interest in what brought us to stay in Melrose. The staffed seemed happy and seemed to work hard! The room had updated carpeting and furniture and looked like they were trying to improve their hotel."

"The room was very comfortable. Nice and clean. Would have been.nice to.have a coffee maker in the room since the diner wasn't open. Cute diner, but did not have employees for it. We would have eaten there if it would have been an option."

"Great place to stay but the door by the parking doesn’t open very well and it was very cold out, I had to have another guest help me cause I couldn’t figure it out so hopefully that gets fixed or maybe just put some instructions cause the lights don’t work everytime other then that the stay was the best. I will definitly be coming back again for another stay. This was my 2nd stay there and it has been good every single time. Staff is very friendly too and very helpful and understanding. Would recommend staying here "
