"We were traveling in Sri Lanka for almost 4 weeks. We wanted a more expensive and more luxurious hotel for our last nights. That's why we choose Dolphin Beach. When we came, we didn't get any time to land. The manager was in a rush and it was not comfortable. We had an amazing room, a 'tentalow' but everything was a little bit wet. "Pleasant simple SriLankan accommodation. Family friendly and welcoming. Pancakes for breakfast were tasty. Room was simple and clean. Bathroom and toilet were basic. Reflecting price range this was good value for money. Very rural. Local fishing area with boats being pulled up on beach in front of accommodation "

"It has only six rooms, but they are well maintained and serviced. Extremely friendly staff. Great for a leisure stay, quiet and great Sri Lankan food (I understand western food is an option). Flexible menu if you give enough time for them to fetch crabs. I am considering another stay. This time I rented only two rooms, but more in the future. Excellent for a family outing. Well worth the money spent. Although the nearby beaches are not, the beach front of this property is well maintained."
