"Saint-Lary is a wonderful location, a lively vibrant town set in the picturesque Pyrenees mountains. Truly stunning! The residence is dated slightly and so could benefit from a bit of a refresh, and the staff were a little "cold" in terms of service but professional and helpful enough; although the reception hours were limited."

"it was a beautiful setting on the lake and surrounded by mountains. However, This was quite an unusual lodging. There was no reception and only my name on a board to tell me which apartment I was in. The room had a well stocked kitchen but had no bedding. "We didn't feel that this property was representative of the listing pictures. It was a lot more run down and stark in comparison. Perhaps because we got a ground floor unit. - The patio was unusable (no privacy and plastic table and chairs were covered in bird poop). - Grounds weren't well kep with grass long, not outdoor seating around the pool (which is much smaller than expected with limited hours). - Check in process was frustrating. - Unit had absolutely no supplies (no hand soap, no...

"I was volunteering in Lourdes for 5 days and needed a reasonably priced place to stay. The Villa Mariale was the best price. I realised that I had stayed there some years before, when it was called something else. It hasn’t changed much, but at least, this time bath towels were included. I didn’t cook, but there was a fully equipped kitchen area if you wanted to do your own cooking"
