"Herman the owner was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and was really understanding of his guests. Lovely pools here too and the central courtyard allows meeting of other guests which is nice on holiday"

"The flats are next to a very busy road with morning and evening heavy traffic and next to three discos with a lot of weekend night actions and noise. The flats are spacy and awere nicely build but meanwhile lack repair and maintenance and thus appear to be rundown."

This place is as good as a 5 Star hotel! It is so good to be able to shop at the Mauritian supermarkets (Super U 15 minutes away by car) and buy the lovely local produce and cook a nice meal on the bbq and relax with Pheonix beer and wine overlooking the beach at sunset! "This hotel also has long term guests because it is awesome. The owner / manager is always trying extra miles to help every guest, treat them like a family. My late checking in, my transport and my last day checking out has never been so looked after. The value is far beyond what’s been paid for. I have a kitchen, big fridge, balcony to hang clothes, closet to keep my stuff, a safe and much more. Would highly recommend. "

"Great apartment. Very quiet. Well maintained. Very helpful host. Regular cleaning. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk to the beach/town but they do offer a shuttle if you need it. We had a hire car so it wasn’t really a problem. "

"Perfect spot for an active retired couple. We spent a week in apt during our month touring Mauritius, Rodrigues and La Reunion. For this stay we didn’t have a car and used the local buses to get to Grand Bay and Port Louis and walked along the coast in both directions. Our daily house keeper Rka was lovely. She brought papaya from her garden and told us which buses to catch to get around much cheaper than Taxi’s. There is a supermarket about a 20 mins walk away and a smaller shop within 300...

"An absolutely stunning place right on the ocean with your own private little beach and private pool. The host was absolutely lovely and did everything to ensure our stay was great. This accommodation was stunning. Truly did not want to leave. It was spacious and luxurious for our family of four and truly loved taking in our view every day. "Lift wasn’t working for 3 days of our stay. The bathroom sink was not cleaned as is was mouldy. Reasonable location as you can walk to the beach."

"Jennifer looked after us during our stay at Villa Banyan and was helpful & friendly and easy to reach. The villas are well maintained and located in a beautiful setting beside a pool and beach area. The view was spectacular every day despite the cyclone weather. We will definitely be returning to stay in the future - Merci pour tous! "

"Great property at a good location! Big apartment that was clean and well taken care of with access to shared pool and lounge facilities, along with private entry into the ocean. Staff were very helpful when needed. Wi-Fi was not the strongest if more than 1-2 people using it. Overall would recommend and would come back!"

"The apartment itself is really nicely furnished and the restaurant is good. Value for money is good A few remarks despite (1) NOT a Kids-friendly place (the pool is too deep, no sidewalks anywhere around) (2) The area is dead, there is no chance to walk anywhere (3) NO AirCon in the appt (only in the bedroom) (4) we had mould in 1 bathroom, unacceptable "

"Great apartment, nice pool, and lush grounds. Love the fact that it's about five minutes' drive from La Croisette Mall. Too bad dryer wasn't working and resort didn't send anyone to check even after requesting."

"I paid for a studio but was upgraded to a one bedroom at check-in. I received a complimentary drink while I was being checked in and I really needed that as I was exhausted. The staff was awesome, they were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the same daily, this needs to be improved on, they should have a wider selection. Overall, I had a good time."

"A little slice of heaven. From entering to checking out the Lux goes beyond. Its incredibly clean, staff welcoming and attentive. The little touches really made our stay perfect. The rooms are so spacious, beds soft yet supportive. Daily cleaning and turn down service was always perfect. The options for food were excellent. For the 6 nights we were there the buffet was always different, the al a carte options also really varied and the skill of the chefs was amazing. We were blown away by the patisserie options and high quality food. Particular mention to Sharon and her skills with chocolate! The weather wasnt always on ourside during our stay so the current was a bit strong to swim for us but we were just unlucky due to the weather. But the beach is clean, plenty of sun loungers,and you can walk several km down to see even more views. Concerige is excellent and helped us book beginners horse riding on the beach which was loved. We would not hesitate to return! No negatives at all!! "

"We had two days before our cruise left and I wanted to see Mauritius. SALT of Palmar fit the bill. The price was reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to sustainability. Further, the attention to service and detail was impressive. the employees we so beautiful and calm and perfectly reset out 20 plus hours of stressful flying and prepared us for a more relaxing vacation!"

"Brilliant staff and it's the staff that make the resort 2nd visit here there will be a third. The reception staff are awesome as are the bar and waiting staff. Personally I didn't rate the food included in the package to much of the same no flair "
